I would think that he did since there are so many games on today but unfortunately not too many good ones are on tv today. The first of the good games had to be Portland at Atlanta, which went into overtime. Joe Johnson had two chances to tie the game one in regulation and the second in overtime. Joe couldn’t hit either shot and the Atlanta Hawks ended up with a loss this afternoon. Even though the Hawks are struggling a bit right now, I don’t think they will have any trouble securing a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
The next good game of the day takes place in Orlando, where they host the Detriot Pistons. These two elite Eastern teams will keep it close throughout most of the game but look for the Pistons to take over in the fourth. It is amazing it me that a team like Orlando has better record on the road, then they do at home. Orlando needs to find a way to win at home because there record has been on the down slope for the last month.
The third and final good game of the night is on National TV with TNT broadcasting this game. This game features the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers are obviously not at full strength without Andrew Bynum however, they can still manage to win this game tonight against an inconsistent Nuggets team. I am sure that this game will be close up until the final buzzer because the match ups in this game do not favor either team. Some will say that Carmelo Anthony has an obvious advantage at the small forward position, I do agree that he is offensively better than Lamar Odom. Nevertheless Odom can play defense and has been able to frustrate Carmelo in the past.
